  US census 1910, Tempe, Arizona Minnie was the eldest of 10 children of George Joshua Awrey and Julia Ann Rieveley. She was born in Sale Creek TN on 9 Aug 1894. She spent the first six years in TN and then moved to the Phoenix area of Arizona. Around 1912 she met and married Harry Austin 'HAS' Sullivan. They finally settled in Quartz Hill, near Lancaster CA. They had a few acres and raised alfalfa, rabbits and had fruit trees. Minnie used to can the fruit and make jam. It has been said that while Minnie was still living with HAS Sullivan that he became very sick. It was determined that she was putting Antrol (ant poison) in his coffee. Although they never divorced, she left Quartz Hill, near Lancaster CA and moved near her family that was now living in San Diego CA. It was also related that she had severe Diabetes and could barely walk before her death in 1965. This information was copied from a family tree I can no longer find online
